Well it would seem I've been so damned busy I haven't even had time to update my blog.

I went to the esion show at Lili's 21 and that rocked. I wrote a review of it and I think this is the right link. I also went to Lords Of Acid and to Cleveland and to see DJ Daniel Myer spin and had a blast and went to a party and some club nights, etc. etc. So, yeah... I was enjoying a social life.... Sue me.

At the partt, Mac mentioned IPM's recent plugs of GotBlack.com. This caught me a bit by surprise, since I wasn't aware that he was still plugging the site. I guess that's what I get for not taking the time to tune into the show. I'll be listening more now. =) If you wanna check it out, it's about an hour and 3 minutes into this week's show.

I AM AMAZED Brittle-Bones.com is likely the most astounding display of creativity and talent that I have seen on the world wide web since Spry released Mosaic and we could all view IMAGES with web pages. Seriously cool shit!

Covenant & And One to Detroit. I'll be there. Will you? Speaking of which, I recently redid my whole banner system, but the new setup is not functional yet. I still have a couple small bugs to work out and have to get tracking working smoothly and viewers won't know the difference except that I can have a bit more freedom to be a bit more picky about what I include in the rotation. Pretty soon, I'll probably adopt a radio style format in that I'll give advertising to groups and companies that give free stuff to visitors of my site. Probably only those people who have a profile will be elligable, but we'll see.

I'm going to New Orleans tomorrow for GothCon. I can't wait. The weather should be a bit warmer, NOLA just plain rocks, I'll get to see lots of people I never have the chance to see, and it's a vacation from work. I'll be back on Monday, but for 4 days, I'll just kick back and hang out with people.....And, of course, ingest a lot of booze.

Last week, some kid shot up his school in California. That kid needed help, but maybe all his peers, parents, teachers, etc need some scrutiny. After all, the kid all but put out a add in the f&*cking paper warning that he'd be taking a gun to school that monday. Open your eyes people. I'm glad the media is reporting fairly responsibly on this and I'm sad for those affected by this kid. That's all I'll say on that.

I got my tickets to the LOA show, so I'm stoked about that. Looks like I've earned a free flight with Southwest, too, so my trip to New Orleans in March for GothCon will be the first of four more flights needed to earn another free one. I might have to plan another trip to Phoenix in April or May. After all, 3 of the 4 flights that got me a free one were to Phoenix, so it's only fitting.

Lately, I've been really tired. I want to go out and see people, but between work and side projects, I find very little sleep. For example, I didn't sleep from Thursday morning through this morning when I got 6 hours only because I had to defrag my 30 GB drive and didn't feel like doing graphics on the laptop anymore. Have you ever tried to work in Photoshop on a touchpad mouse?

I DID go out and see Hannibal last night with Jason and Michele (happy birthday, JJ). It wasn't as great as I had anticipated, but it was still damn good. If you're planning on seeing it for the first time, here's your warning: It's BLOODY. I still have to go see Snatch very soon.

I don't really have anything too interesting to say, but I posted because Suriel made me. So I'm going to go make dinner, and if anything exciting happens, I'll post about it.

Oh yeah... I'm sending fliers out to those who requested them tomorrow. And today I'm setting up all the new accounts requested in the past couple days.

It seems to actually be 1 AM here in Michigan, so I'm going to ged for now.

I got a message from someone with a profile on the site today. It said, "GotBlack.com got me a job!".

Well, OK... What eneded up happening is that she got an INTERVIEW for a job but ended up taking another job she had previousely interviewed for. Still, the site's bringing people together more and more every day. When I put up a few simple pages a few years ago, that was the site's intended purpose, so it's nice to know it's not all in vain.
